My name is Julie Rubsam and I am excited to be chairing the service auction this year. In order to ensure this year’s auction is a great success, we need your help with donations, volunteerism, and participation.
This year’s Live and Silent Auction will take place on the evening of September 21, 2013. If you are able, please consider making a donation to this year’s auction. In previous years, there have been donations of services, handmade items, gift certificates, and lessons; just to name a few. Please see the attached donation form at the bottom of this post.
Perhaps you have a connection to a business that could be encouraged to make a donation to our auction. Many businesses have already been contacted. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out if a business is already on the list. If they are not on the list, I’ll send you a copy of the Business Donation Request Letter so you can reach out to them.
We also have a need for volunteers to help with following up with business and church members for donations. In addition, think about helping the night of the auction to set up, help with the silent and live auctions, check out, and clean up. This year’s auction is going to be great fun! Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 before the night of the auction and $15.00 the night of the auction. Order your tickets online! Tickets can be purchased online at http://uucauction13.eventbrite.com (a small processing fee applies). Don’t forget to invite your family and friends!
